Also, I was wrong! After I recorded this episode, I went back and checked. Sam from Quantum Leap in the finale does NOT make it home (sorry, spoiler alert). The end title card left the situation much more ambiguous. It's because they didn't know if the show was going to be cancelled or not when they filmed the final episode. Sorry for the mistake. Forgive me.
